St Michael's is currently offering a full range of ministry initiatives and programming to support the community and faith worship during the covid-19 shutdown. Worship on Zoom

Tuesday Evening Bible Study

The Beeton Cupboard Food Bank

The Beeton Cupboard remains open to serve those in need every Wednesday morning from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Donations of food and household items can be dropped off Wednesday and Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Out of the Cold Lunch Program

Our Sunday lunch program has been extended through to the end of May for 2021. Each Sunday at 12:30 PM, take-away lunches are provided to those in need of a meal. No questions asked. To support this program, please contact our office.

 

20s-30s Ministry

Our newest ministry group for those in the 20-30 age group looking to connect and explore themes of faith, God, life issues, and make social connections in a supportive, safe space. Follow us on Instagram for updates on upcoming events and gatherings! @stmichaelonstclair

 

Fabulous Fridays - Returning for July 2021

Returning for July 2021! Register by June 30 for weekly delivery of arts & crafts kits and snacks for four weeks in July! Follow us on Instagram for regular updates and to share your creations with the hashtag #fabfridaysjuly. Follow @stmichaelonstclair

Our arts and crafts program for families and individuals in the neighbourhood offered unique activities in its pilot program during the spring 2020 shutdown. 650 activity kits were delivered every Friday to the doorsteps of 80 children and their families.

 
 

St Michael's Youth Group: Fantastic Friends in Faith

Prayer Shawl

Bringing comfort to those experiencing loneliness, grief, and isolation during the pandemic. Do you know of someone who could use this form of caring? Are you a knitter or crafter interested in creating and donating a shawl? Supplies of yarn are available. Please contact us to get involved.

 

The Green Door Web Series

Baking From A Distance

This community initiative allows bakers in the neighbourhood to support the Beeton Cupboard food bank with home-baked goodies to be given out each week. To get involved, please Contact Us

 

Bedtime Stories

A once-weekly time for children to have a special story time, including bible stories and a gentle bedtime prayer to help calm the mind and heart. To sign up or find out more, please Contact Us.

 

The Beeton Garden

This new initiative has been established and run by members of the community looking for ways to support those experiencing food insecurity through the growing of fresh produce in backyards in the neighbourhood. Reach out to us if you'd like to get involved.

Extending Community
One Coffee at a Time

**Update**: In-person meeting at the Underground is returning to the front lawn on St Clair Ave beginning Friday June 4, 10-11:30 am. Covid-19 safety measures continue to be followed closely - please wear your mask and continue to physically distance.

Those who wish to join in remotely can continue to join the Friday Morning Coffee Hour on Zoom using the link on the Home Page.

Started as a grassroots community initiative to foster social connection, the Underground Cafe has grown into a regular weekly drop-in event held in St. Michael & All Angels Church Fridays from 10:00 - 11:30 am. Join us for coffee, tea, goodies, and conversation with fellow members of the neighbourhood.

This essential service providing community outreach continues during covid-19 with safety protocols in place.

Self-guided tours of our stained glass in the church sanctuary are temporaroly suspended.
