Our Outreach History

St Michael and All Angels church outreach began with support of the troops in World War 1 and World War 2. Our parish has continued its outreach efforts through programs like the Out of the Cold lunch program, running from October - April each year, and the Beeton Cupboard food bank, which has been volunteer-run for 30+ years.

Our outreach team continues to look for ways to be of service to the community and provide outreach to those in need. If you would like to get involved in outreach work, please contact us.

Beeton Cupboard

**New time: 11:30 - 12:30 on Wednesdays**

Our outreach program remains a high priority at this time. The Beeton Cupboard Food Bank is an essential service and will continue serving our community on Wednesdays. Steps have been taken to adjust service delivery in line with up-to-date Public Health advice.

Now offering local delivery to those in need. Having a hard time accessing food? Stuck at home during the shutdown? Reach out to us by email to make arrangements for grocery delivery. Email smaachurchoffice@gmail.com

The Beeton Cupboard is a volunteer-run community food bank which provides grocery items to those in need, no questions asked.

Out of the Cold Lunch Program

Due to covid, we are offering take-out lunches every Sunday at 12:30 pm out of our Wychwood Ave entrance (through the wooden gate). This year's program will run to the end of May.

The Out of the Cold kitchen at SMAA runs from mid autumn till late spring every year. This program is entirely volunteer run and supported by community donations.
